There are seven primary Committees within the DEG – Member Advisory Council, Communications Committee, Digital Data Tracking Committee, Hi-Res Audio Committee, Marketing Committee, Market Research Committee, and Technology and Operations Committee.
DEG Committees meet regularly, identify opportunities and address specific issues affecting the industry. Task forces are established within Committees as needed to serve the various needs of DEG member companies. Committee Chairs report on their activities and make recommendations to the DEG Board of Directors.

DEG’s Hi-Res Audio Committee recently launched, in collaboration with a variety of other leading associations, the Stream the Studio initiative which is specifically designed to deliver studio quality sound and advanced user features to a new generation of passionate music fans.
